Proper tree and shrub care requires professional attention. Each client property, trees and shrubs are special. All have individual and unique concerns that must be addressed. Your Arborist will work with you to assess the status of your trees and shrubs to determine the proper program of care according to our Industry Standards.

Insect and Disease Control
Insects and diseases can severely weaken or even kill trees or shrubs by destroying their leaves, trunks and roots.
Our individualized treatment programs are based on the latest research and technology available.
Some of our services include the use of non-toxic insecticide soaps and horticultural oils, systemic injections into the soil and tree trunks, and, only spraying when disease or insects have reached dangerous levels.
Tree and Shrub Fertilization
It is difficult to be a healthy urban tree. We abuse the soils and do not aggressively replenish them with organic materials to the extent that most of our soils are lacking in the required elements in quantities that are so important to sustain a healthy tree.
Annual fertilization will help to increase growth, reduce susceptibility to certain diseases, pests and even help to reverse declining health. All trees and shrubs should be done once a year in late fall or early spring.
Although nutrient deficiencies occur for a number of reasons in the urban environment, proper detection is required. Laboratory nutrient soil analysis, which we often do, is sometimes necessary to detect deficiencies and the underlying causes such as imbalance in soil ph. Fertilization supplies nutrients determined to be deficient. This is a specialty service that we can provide.
Urban trees require proper care. Annual fertilization is part of this process.
